The Rock's Mother Helped Cody Rhodes During A Match On WWE Raw [Video]

Cody Rhodes and The Rock have engaged in a war of words recently, especially after Cody Rhodes won the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble Match and made the decision to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 40. It initially looked like The Rock would challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, but the company decided to go in a different direction.

Things were not always so heated between The Rock and Cody Rhodes, as The Rock's mother had once helped Cody Rhodes during a Monday Night Raw match. Cody Rhodes recalled this incident during his promo on the March 18, 2024, episode of WWE Raw. 

It was back in April 2022 when Cody Rhodes returned to WWE after six years and competed at Wrestlemania 38 against Seth Rollins. A few days later, Cody Rhodes made his in-ring return on Monday Night Raw and took on Kevin Owens in a dark match after the show went off the air. Kevin Owens was close to the barricade and The Rock's mother, Ata Johnson, held Kevin Owens from behind and Cody Rhodes punched him before hugging Ata Johnson to thank her for the assist.

Yesterday, on #WWERAW , Cody Rhodes recalled how The Rock's mother helped him chop Kevin Owens in a dark match.

This happened in 2022, and Cody even hugged Ata Johnson, Dwayne's mother.

The Rock recently brought up Cody Rhodes' mother during a promo on Friday Night SmackDowm and stated that he would gift her a bloodied belt after whipping Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
