Gunther won't be too happy with how things transpired after the November 10, 2023, edition of WWE SmackDown went off the air.

Gunther has been the Intercontinental Champion for more than 500 days at this point. Gunther is regarded by many as quite possibly the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.

Gunther took on Jey Uso for the first time in a singles match after WWE SmackDown went off the air. The match was contested for the Intercontinental Title.

The final moments of the match saw Jey Uso being hit with a low blow, leading to a win for Jey Uso, yet the Intercontinental Title didn't change hand due to the DQ win.
