CM Punk was welcomed back into the squared circle by Dominik Mysterio at the WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden on December 26, 2023. This was CM Punk's first WWE match in almost 10 years.

During the match, CM Punk had a flirtatious interaction with Rhea Ripley. CM was seen doing pushups in front of Rhea Ripley in a flirtatious manner. Rhea Ripley was in Dominik Mysterio's corner for the match.

CM Punk made his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023 Premium Live Event. CM Punk closed out the show after the Men's WarGames Match, which featured The Judgment Day in action against Cody Rhodes' team.

CM Punk has also confirmed his entry into the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble Match. A victory for CM Punk could set him on the path to challenge for Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship.

On the December 11, 2023, edition of WWE Raw, CM Punk officially signed with the Raw brand before being confronted by Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins was visibly frustrated upon CM Punk's return to WWE. Seth Rollins and CM Punk could cross paths in a match in early 2024.
