Seth Rollins was the sole survivor and has lead his Team Raw to victory in the Men's 5 on 5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match at WWE Survivor Series 2021 premium live event. Next day on the November 22, 2021, edition of Monday Night Raw, the match was scheduled between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor but never happened.

Seth Rollins came out in the ring for a match against Finn Balor but before the match Seth Rollins gave a promo about WWE Survivor Series 2022. Seth Rollins blamed his teammates for not being good enough, Seth Rollins said that he beat Team SmackDown all by himself and the best part is that the rest of his team were eliminated, no help from Finn Balor. Seth Rollins asked Finn Balor to get in the ring with him so that he can show Finn Balor that what it means to be the best because he is the best. Finn Balor came out to fight against Seth Rollins but is attacked from behind by Seth Rollins during the entrance. Both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins brawl inside and outside the ring and in the end Seth Rollins came out on the top as he took Finn Balor out with a Curb Stomp.

After taking out Finn Balor, Seth Rollins was walking down on the entrance ramp but got attacked by a fan. Thankfully, Seth Rollins was saved by the WWE officials.
